Hi Ginny,
Thanks for the quick response.
The blossoms on this particular plant are a shade of orange.
The growth is white and doesn't appear to have the beginnings of any leaves.
There is only about a quarter of an inch of growth at this point. Could it
be white from the low light level?
How deeply do you normally plant your unsprouted bulbils? Do you normally
plant as soon as you gather them? I was afraid it might be too hot here now
to put the already sprouted bulbils into the garden.
