Re: Spider mites


I have used detergent and water with much success for spider mites as well
as increasing the the humidity.  But I would never, never use and oil the
leaves
of plants as oil will clog the pores (called stoma) and prevent the needed gas
exchange. This is the problem with store products that claim to clean and
shine the leaves.  Also, oils attract dust making the problem even worse.
Just my 2 cents worth.
