When I posted a simple suggestion about maybe using common names as well as
botanical names for the sake of those who don't normally use them, for the
sake of education, I had no idea it would cause such a stir. I fully AGREE
with using botanical names for proper identification of all plants and can
see the reasons why. I only said it would be helpful to some if it was
coupled with a commom name if it had one.
I hope we can all get back to the business of the list. We have heard
many opinions and they have been numerous, humorous, and educational. I
hope all ruffled feathers can be put in place and everyone can decide to be
or not to be a participant of the list. Take a deep breath and relax.
Don't sweat the small stuff! It's all small stuff as the book title
suggests.
I apologize for anything that I have done to cause this. The upside is
that the list is on the move once again. Glenda in NC
