Hi Susan,
How're things in (brrrr frigid) Alberta? I soaked them for four
hours, then planted them. We've had unusually hot and dry weather in
spring to early summer. Mebbe that has something to do with it.
As to keeping things growing, we've had an infestation of the Asian
Tussock Moth. Their little caterpillars are eating machines, so it's
more a matter of keeping the little monsters at bay than of getting the
plants to grow and prosper.
