Re: seed storage

I have lots of seeds and I store them several ways.
Common seeds from the store I sort by use or type and keep in coffee cans in a dry, somewhat cool shed. These I use within a year or two or give away.
The seeds I really value, like the ones from the Hort Society ..., I store in small bags like ziploc, but smaller, and label like Glider said, then they all go in a long tupperware in the frig. I have some pretty old seed that still germinates.
I agree with Caron that mice can do a lot of damage if they have no barrier.
