By no means am I an expert, but here in my Michigan garden, I have Iris
(German and Dwarf) seedlings galore, as we speak. I would suggest that they
need stratification and that they they could be on the surface or covered
with chick grit. I would also suggest that they probably need to be kept
moist as it has been very rainy this spring, and I have not had so many
*volunteers*as I have this year.
