Continuing on the pepper thread, does anyone know anything about the genus
and species of pink peppercorns. I first tasted them as a seasoning in a
restaurant in France, later saw them for sale in Guadeloupe, but I am not
sure what they are. They look suspiciously like the seed capsules of Schnius
molle, the California Pepper Tree, but I was under the impression that these
were poisonous?
