Hi Linda! I`m Elaine, Scott is my son, he owns the computer, I get to
use it, he`s plant crazy too, but I`m the one doing this line ,at night
when I can`t sleep, but every one else can. I was so excited to hear
from you! I have never seen a blue Angel Trumpet! To answer your
question, no they won`t bloom the first year, but they will the second
if you love them and feed them well. The trick will be the winter, I
don`t know where you are, but even here in sunny Northern Calif. I have
to drag mine under cover of the deck in the winter. They like sun, they
won`t bloom unless they are in plenty of sun, but then they wilt easy.
They don`t like cold at all, first they will drop thier buds, if too
cold. Then they will freeze if you 1.don`t keep them watered well 2.
don`t cover them 3. wrap thier trunk at the bottom and over the soil
with news paper after watering( now if they are in the ground you
shouldn`t have to do that last one unless your where it really freezes
and snows). So they can be a little trouble but well worth it. They
smell heavenly as well as being unusually pretty. When you seed, you
can bet I want some!Drool! Thanks for you generous offer! Long winded
me,sorry folks. Elaine husted@earthlink.net
