RE: Brugmansia Angel Trumpet

Just thought I'd putin my two cents. I grow them on the East End of Long
Island. This year I got three plants from a local nursery. They were
packaged from HOlland. I have grown them from seed and last year they
self-seeded. I am in Zone 7A. They do not survive the winter here. I have
only the white, but they open in the evening. It is like watching a choir.
And then of course they have a lovely fragrance. It takes them about half
an hour to open.

This year I put them near my new fish pond. I planted them with casa Blanca
Lilies, Heliotrope and silver dusty miller. And, blue deophiniums. I think
it is going to be utterly beautiful. My mmonflowers didn't make it from
seed to the ground, so that's saved for next year.
