After much deliberation, we settled on my brother's spot for a garden. Put
in some tomatoes (Jet Star) and one called "Sausage tomato", named for its
long shape, but I think it is of the Roma or Saladette type. Also, red
cherry peppers, jalapeno and cubanelle peppers. Yellow squash and Roly Poly
Zuke (you can stuff these little round guys) and a wide row for radishes and
any stragglers. Space is left for the purple potatoes that I forgot to bring
with me.
This has been a bad year in central New York. We are just now getting 80ish
weather. My brother put 2 vanfuls of city mulch in his plot, so whatever he
didn't have in there before, he might have now. We got as much of it out as
we could.
Loved the feel of the tiller again!!
