My alstroemerias are setting seeds right now, too, in Southern California.
A few pods have turned brown and are nice and chunky. But I'm reluctant to
pick them yet. I've read somewhere that they self-seed readily. I'm really
interested in propagating them and would also welcome any advice from the
list in that regard. Should they be surface sown? Covered?
