Margaret & anybody else who is interested in this method:
They do this with orchids all the time. Simply save the pollen from the
earlier blooming variety. Put it in one of those little plastic 35 mm camera
film containers & freeze it. Then, when the later variety blooms, remove the
35 mm camera film container from the freezer & use that pollen to pollenate
the later blooming type. Let me know if it works. I know it works with
orchids! Hope I was able to be of some help with this.
