Ginny, I'm here, I'm here!!!!!  Just got caught up with too many things to do
and too little time to get them done.  

This past spring I decided to plant "all" of my seeds.  Some were 4 years old.
I just broadcast them in the individual seed pans just to be rid of them.
Instead of thin germination, I had tons of seedlings that germinated, even the
oldest.  Then we rented our carriage house to a young artist and decided that
we would mass plant everywhere, with everything.  We even planted part of our
vegetable garden as a cutting garden.  

Someone asked earlier about germination times and stratification.  This past
spring, I seeded about 7 different kinds of Delphiniums.  I placed the seeds
pans outside in a protected area for about 6 weeks and then brought them back
inside to germinate.  I now have 3 and 1/2 full flats of Delphiniums to pot
up.  I have never enjoyed such good germination from Delphiniums.  I would
think that anything in that family, including the Monkshood would appreciate
the cold period before the warm period.  

Looking forward to a major showing next year from this years Delphiniums,
because I plan to mass plant them.  It's always so much more fun to start
something so delightful,  yourself, and then stand back and reap the rewards.
