The first time around I received seeds of Cordia bosserii from Florida. They sprouted
well and grew even better.
Throughout the past winter some of the plants have reached a height of almost 2
meters. The tree flowers profusely and has been flowering continously for the past six
months. It also sets seed in large numbers. Does anyone have experience in
preparing the seed for sowing? The seed, medium sized brown and elliptical is
surrounded by green, almost tomato looking flesh. I assume that this must be
removed. Suggestions are welcome.
I probably will have enough seed to trade or send. The tree is supposedly frost
tolerant and was voted by the Florida Nurserymen's Association as an outstanding
plant.
