A lot depends on what you're growing, but if it's something that's not
especially frost tender, what you could do is put your seedlings under a
flat tent/tarp/reemay or something like that, so that they get evening sun
and morning sun, but not direct overhead sun. After I transplant chiles and
tomatoes into the garden, I put those worthless 3-ring tomato "cages" over
each, then top the cage with newspaper, clipped on by clothespins. That is
another way of continuing the hardening off process. Margaret L
