I went to Home Depot and bought 100 feet of gutter heating cable and wound
in in a spiral on the bench surface.  Now we have a 3x36 area of heated
bench for seed propagation.  Seems like it cost about $40.  Has a built in
thermostat that holds it well.
Sure beat the heck out of my Pro-grow with the adjustable heat control and
the outrageous prices for replacement cables.
