hi all....i'm interested to know what you kiddies in zone 6ish-7ish are starting inside...seems i always start the wrong things, too early, ACK.....

Sow as directed and just wait.  I don't recall how long it took, but I got good germination.
I have a flat of it currently sowed, but along with all the primulas, verbenas, and *even the seed from China*, nothing has come up yet.  This is certainly not the norm here as it's been a month since sowing.
I think I know what's up, but it's such an asinine error that I choose to not disclose it.

I ordered the seeds for codonopsis (bellflower) with little directins on propagating it.  The package only said:  "start indoors; plant on surface; needs light to germ."  I would like to know how warm/cold the soil temp. needs to be and also how long to allow for germination so I can decide when to sow and have ready for planting...
I'm guessing that since it is a perennial, that it would probably only need 55 to 60 degrees soil to germinate.  I have noticed that annuals need warmer soil.  Am I correct?
