Your not kidding-and what's just as bad is dumping out an envelope of seeds
you just paid $30 for on the carpet.
I have a few fish aquariums and have found that the tops make great
germination locations, the water is F 78 plus the heat from the lights makes
for a nice uniform warm temp.
