I was told that it would propagate just like comfrey root. Meaning that you could cut it in pieces, allow the cuts to callous & then pot them up. I'll be growing the plants in pots. I'm in SW Wisconsin.

I suppose if each piece contains an "eye" or latent bud, you might be OK>
