I use a hot-mat on a table and have grow-lux lights over it.  I suppose 
it would be possible to put the same setup on top of my refrigerator, 
but there is a 13-inch tv up there now & I would miss watching tv during 
meals, doing projects on the kitchen table, etc.  The hot-mat & overhead 
grow-lux lighting works for me!  Hot-mats are available from Charley's 
Greenhouse Supplies in California.  Judy Showers (greenhouse grower from
