Just to kick in to the subject....Tuffells in Portland OR. sells in
fairely small amounts...in the northwest. They have no ojection to
c.o.d. and they are open to acounts w/ a credit ap... they do ask for a
ag licsense in your home state.
We use .... for hot tables ....1 normal hot water heater w/ 3/4 hose to
feed 3/4 schedual 40 pvc...back and fort...6" apart...100 ft. long x 4
ft. wide, buried in sand w/ weed mat on top. We have a 3/4 standard
pump in line pumping the water back to the waterheater...just before
the heater...the pvc is rated at 75 to 85 degrees...so far for the last
5 years the max temp has been 68....if you set your thermos to 250 or
less according to your climate there is no problem....the table works
best when its full...things grow really well and the electric bill...at
least here in the N>W...is not that bad.
the regular hose helps connect the hard pipe to the hot water heater...
Oh yes...for water make up to the heater ....you have to have this....we
are hooked up to a garden hose at the drain faucet on the bottom of the
heater ....if you just leave it on it takes what it needs when it needs
it.
If you have fill problems use a 15lb. regulater....in line.
Even tho we have lights we use them only when there is the need to
adjust the day length to fool something into sprouting early.......
