Hi,
My daughter had this plant in her garden that was really unusual to me. It
would bloom for one day only and sorta looked a lily, but not really. She
neglects her garden immensely, so it was with delight that I noticed burst
seed pods all over this plant. I collected them all. Threw some in some
soil and plunked them down on the heated seed pad. In the mean time, I
believe I located this flower in Parks-success with seeds. It is called
Trigridia Pavonia. It takes 20-25 days to germinate. That is exactly what
happened. The seeds have germinated and appear to defy all the damp-off
troubles I have had.
I see the plant, now, in catalogs as a bulb. And I am aware that some
seeds taken from certain plants will not produce identical plants.
My question is: will this seed produce a plant with blooms identical to my
daughters?
