Hi Jim,
I'm a beginner, but I did germinate columbine a few years ago. I did it in
seed flats with domes or covers to keep the moisture up. I ended up with
so many I had to give them away. Then about a year later, I was
questioning my mind when looking at 2 spots in my garden where columbine
was growing. Why would I ever plant it there. One spot was right at the
base of a small azalea. Then I realized what happened. My columbine (just
a few feet away) had went to seed and germinated themselves in 2 different,
but odd spots. Quite a surprise to me.
