Most columbine grow easily from seed, I start it indoors, don't
cover the seeds. I read somewhere that they need light to germinate.
They seed around quite happily but if you hope to get seeds true to the
species, be careful. These plants have no scruples about interbreeding.
Some crosses are quite beautiful, others not!
Good luck, columbine in all forms and species are a favorite of
mine.
