Spring bulbs are starting to bloom and I remember now that I
don't have enough!
Galanthus nivalis and nivalis var viridapicis (I think) have
formed nice clumpts that will be divided later but they don't seed
around. I don't remember if I bought a package of bulbs or if I begged
a plant or two from someone.
Any ideas on seed from these and other Galanthus and Leucojum?
Do I need plants from other stock to provide viable seed? If I remember
correctly, they have set seed pods in past years but I don't recall
operating to see if there were viable-looking seeds inside.
Thanks,
Jean Halverson
sw Wisconsin where I hope spring has finally come.
