Hi Maudin,
Some time ago Cindy Meredith (TX) sent me 6 PAPER SHELL PECANS and the
instruction on how to plant it: crack (not break apart) the shell and
plant it. I did that and now I have 6 nice seedlings. No mistery at all.
I'm in Brazil, Belo Horizonte, where the temperature can reach 25-28ºC
and we are 850 m above sea level. We are ending now our summer season
(next March 23).
Hope this could be of help.
Good luck.
