Re: FW: Oxalis?

Tim,
I live in probably the warmest most tropical area in the US... I live in
South East Florida just west of Ft. Lauderdale and a bit north of Miami.
There is a narrow strip of predominate sand that runs along the Florida
east coast that is a few miles wide and starts just south of us and goes
into the north and then central part of the state... As far as Oxalis is
concerned... Yes, It grows all over the yard in a couple of forms but
overall it is a weed... a pretty one but a weed. I have never noted seed
on this plant. It always is spread... I think.... by divisions.

If you have trouble with over watering.... try this... fill the bottom
portion of a clay pot with styrofoam peanuts, plant your plant as you
always do... Then set the pot in a tray of water that does not quite come
up to the bottom level of the potting media that you are using. The clay
pot will suck up the water and everything will be moist but not wet...
