Francis: Is there no way to get good hazelnut stock from seed. Do you
know what is the percentage that comes true? Or if I am gathering
hazelnuts, & select only the largest to plant, doesnt that increase the
chance that the seedling will also have larger nuts. Also, do seedling
hazelnuts make good rootstock, in which cash one could graft scions from
the best producers on to the rootstock of seedlings that werent
producing--
