This is one of the most reliable, easy primulas from seed: I generally sow
the seed in January outdoors.  I note almost 100-percent germination in 3
pots of seed within the past few days.  Daytime temperatures in mid-40s,
night-time in mid-30s.

If fed well, some of each seedlot will flower the first year, in mid to
late summer.
