Re: Growing Penstemon from seed


I germinated penstemon hirsutus in 9 days and
                   penstemon rupicola  in 8 days
  from NARGS seed exchange seed, very high percentage germination
at about 60 degrees F, no pre-treatment, seed just barely covered, under
lights, in a mix of ProMix and grit.
