BURGLED BOOKS - Help

>Diana Politika at The Greenhouse Nursery wrote this morning of having
their greenhouse broken into >and all their reference books stolen.

she despaired of finding.

Diana -

I believe the answer to your prayers lies in a marvelous web site:
www.bibliofind.com

Bibliofind marshalls (?) combines (?) the inventories of some 3,000
dealers in used books. Of those on your list, I found just now:

Encyclopedia of Trees and Shrubs - 6 copies listed, at prices from $7 to
$15

Random House - Perennials 8 copies, ranging from $15 to $50

Random House - Shrubs 1 copy, @ $7 Better get it today!

The Ultimate Plant Book 3 copies, from $22 to $35

How it works: Your order is PLACED with Bibliofind but routed to the
individual retail dealer, who may be anywhere in the English-speaking
world. Each listing describes the physical CONDITION of the book, and
most allow return if the book doesn't live up to its description.

I have bought a number of books through Bibliofind, and most of them have
arrived looking like new.
As a matter of fact, many of them ARE new, having been bought by the retail
dealer as publishers' close-outs. So always look at Bibliofind before
buying anything from Amazon.

No, I am not a Bibliofind stockholder.
