Re: Germinating Pardancanda


For Pardancanda and Belamcanda, I prefer the plastic bag method.  I fil a
zip-lock plastic bag with coarse, just barely moist sphagnum and add the
seeds.  You can keep them in the 'fridge over winter and if removed from
storage in April, germination will begin almost immediately (actually, this
cold treatment is not even necessary).  Then individual seedlings can be
removed for potting up.
