The aquarium heater is a good idea-but I would like to make two observations-
if the water is not circulated the water around the first two inches of the
heater will warm up and turn the heater off. The Second one is that the heater
must be turned off before you use the water or refill your water container,
others wise the glass will break.
Letting the water sit at room temp-still might be your best option.
