Hey all,
<<love warm water. Here is another suggestion, at pet stores you can
purchase little submersable heaters that are used for dogs water bowls
so that they do not freeze over, and they will keep the water nice and
luke warm in garbage cans.>>
You know, one of the things I like about this list is the fact that
there is a pretty good signal to noise ratio. But then again, maybe
there are only 10 of us on this list, I have no clue what the
circulation of it is....
Anyway, since you're going to the pet store anyway, you might want to
check out the submersible fish tank heaters. For $20 (around here
anyway, but then I've never seen the dog dish heaters to price those)
you can get a 250 watt heater designed to heat a 55+ gallon tank. They
usually have a dial-a-temp setup so that you can choose what temperature
you want the water at (usually allows settings from high 60's to low
90's). Just plug it in, drop it in, and warm up (said to the tune of
"drop out, tune in, and turn on").
Of course when combining electricity and water PLEASE remember that they
mix rather poorly (ie a $10 ground fault switch is a real "life saver",
no joke).
Ok, rant off, thanks for listening.
