One of the points that was hammered home to me was that yellow leaves on
annual plants, especially tomatoes, indicated a lack of nutrients. Another
point that has always been made to me is that healthy plants usually don't
attrack insects. Try giving your plants more food and by this time of year
much more light. Look on the internet for plans to build a small cold frame.
