I've been on the list since near the beginning and I like it - there is a lot of
useful content and it is /the/ place on the internet to ask propagation
questions. There are many knowledgeable and experienced people here.
Your "general" questions that you throw out to us every now and then are a good
way to stimulate discussion.
I also am glad that the list has stayed on track for the most part. I'm not
against people starting off topic threads, but there is a point where it should
be taken to e-mail, a more appropriate list, or just dropped. Gentle
reminders when people stray too far off topic for too long are a good idea,
and I think you've been doing a good job with this. Too many mailing lists lack
any control and devolve into general chat rooms.
Keep up the good work Duncan!
