>What's the best way to propagate this kind of Sedum quickly?
I asked this question in early February on the GARDENS-L list and many
people suggested that I just stick a cutting in the ground and it would
root quickly.
I did, and it did! In fact, that new plant already has a bloom on it. I
didn't do anything special, just gave it loose, well-draining soil with
compost mixed in, full sun and adequate water.
I haven't tried any other propagation methods. Some said that rooting
hormone works but is not necessary. Others suggested bending a piece of the
existing plant to the ground, securing it and covering it until it roots,
then cutting it off from the host plant.
