Richard I dont know if this would work everytime but I cut some stems
for bouquet flower arrangement and Autumn Joys vase life was so good I
just left it til it started looking so-so and when I removed them I was
shocked to find abundant roots had formed all along the bottom 2-3" of
the stems.I planted it and it is doing well.Not very professional
granted but hey what ever it worked.
