Chryssies from seed for October (Mothers Day?). Is seed the way to 
go?

We grew mums for many years using cuttings. Timing is very accurate 
and the process is quite cheap.

Could you get plant material sent up from a southern propagator, or 
do you have one locally?

the Ball Red Book (Reston Publishing Co, Reston Virginia) is an 
excellent guide to programmed mums and other flower crops)

If there are now reliable timed seed strains I would be very 
interested to know.
