Actually, that's what *I* said :-)

I've done that as well, but as I told Jill, you're still limited in
selection.  The places that have REALLY BIG selection have REALLY BIG
minimum orders.  I can deal with 96 plugs but 512?  Yeow!  

So for those pansies you just "have to have" and don't usually find in
nurseries, I say plant those.  It's possible.  The rest, don't bother,
just break down and buy the suckers.
