My book says: Santolina/Lavender cotton semi-ripe cuttings early/mid-autumn frame/low polyethylene tunnel hardwood cuttings late autumn/early winter outdoors Another book simply says "raised from cuttings." I once tried but didn't have luck myself :( But my plant which I got last summer and really looked straggly is now beautiful. I'll try again in Oct. or Nov. here in Las Vegas. Carol
