Kwint -- I noticed in my plant propagation book that gerbera needs fresh
seeds and should germinate in two to three weeks at 68 degrees F. The book
also mentioned removing basal shoots from the rhizome and use as cuttings.
I have not tried to germinate gerbera, but I would like to try. I might try
making cutting from the rhizomes as I do have non-flowering gerbera in my
garden now. Let me know if you have any success from seeds.
