Hi Olin,
I do a lot of Orchid Seed flasking and I was always told ( and
most others thought the same) that you should use GloLux tubes, but it was
recommended to me by an Orchid Nursery that you get better results by using
normal cheap 30watt white tubes, so I changed over and the results Im
having is amazing, with the orchids ( I think this could be applicable to
most seeds you germinate under lights) I have a time clock and the lights
are on 16 hours and off 8 hours ( on at 4am off at 8pm) this gives the seed
and seedling the chance to germinate and grow.
