You can get similar results by placing your flats on radiators (I usually put a few magazines under them first), on top of the refrigerator or on top of the drier. I happen to have radiant heat in my brick floor and have successfully started seeds there too. Don't think I'd try an electric blanket. They are designed to get wet. Be careful! Ginny
