Re: Envelopes again


Glassine seed envelopes are avialable from some horticultural societies,
including the North American Rock Garden Society, usually to members only.
You might check any that you belong to.

Glassine envelopes that are designed for stamp collectors vary a lot in
their sealing, as I found out when I helped out in a seed-exchange.  Many
leak around corners even when sealed.  The envelopes with flaps on the
broad side are the worst.

Manila seed envelopes are usually better constructed, and seem always to
be available from stationers.  Of course, you can't see the seed, which
may be a sales point for Nan's craft fair seeds.
