Glassine envelopes that are designed for stamp collectors vary a lot in
their sealing, as I found out when I helped out in a seed-exchange. Many
leak around corners even when sealed. The envelopes with flaps on the
broad side are the worst.

Nan, this is very true. That's what was nice about the Pavey product.
Their envelopes were made with seed-tight corners. They even talked about
the corners in their literature.
Anyone out there know what happened to this company? They used be part of a
larger company named Disbrow. There IS a Disbrow Manufacturing in NJ, and
the yellow pages listing says they make folding boxes. It may be the same
organization. I called and left a message on an answering machine. I'll
keep you informed.
I even remember the sales guy's name: Joe Rega.
