But, Nancy, does this sprouting only occur in the Spring?
In reworking some beds for fall planting, I ran into miles of bamboo roots.
As you said, it looked like a bud at each joint. I clipped up the root and
put each section in potting soil, but have yet to have anything come up (2
weeks now) It is my impression that I won't see anything until SPRING, but
that seems so strange.
Please tell me more! -Allan
