Peony Tubers

Another question:
Can someone tell me how to store peony tubers over the winter?  I'm 
wondering if I can put them in a pot of dry peat mix and put them in the 
coldroom or freezing greenhouse? Or wait until spring and just put them in a 
bag in a dark-dry room?
