I watered once on Sunday and this morning (Monday) the top of the soil is
still moist (no light dry spots like I was getting). I get the feeling that
I watered a little too much on Sunday and I also think that you're right
about the soil is holding too much water. It's funny because I can do so
many different construction and woodworking and other mechanical types of
things and just growing a few seeds is giving me so much trouble. I never
suspected.

I was working on the entire back yard, but I haven't done much of anything
these last couple days. It's hard to believe these plants are still holding
in some moisture in this heat.
