Re: Sungold tomatoes

Has anybody grown a significant number of Sungold cherry tomatoes
(Thompson & Morgan) from seed this year?

The story so far. We grew these a year after they came on the market and
they were all that one could wish, eg golden colour, the sweetest of any
cherries. Then over the next 2 or 3 years we have had increasing numbers
of 'rogues' eg red ones, either loads of miniscule red ones, or red
ones, medium size and relatively tasteless. We have twice complained and
at first got 'we are looking into it' or something, then a money voucher
which got us nowhere. We also got something similar from Seymour Seeds
which gave us instead all red tomatoes except one plant of Sungold type.
This year we tried three other ideas, other suppliers.
  1) a packet of 'Sungold" from
another supplier. Result yellow cherries, not gold, indifferent flavour.
  2) a packet of 'Sun Baby', result indistinguishable from 1.
  3) a packet of 'Golden Cherry', few seeds, poor germination, but just
like the original Sungold. The supplier says this is an improved
  'Sungold'

The question now is have Thompson & Morgan got their act sorted out yet?
I know they import their seeds from Japan, but can their supplier
produce F1 seeds true to type again?. I can't afford to grow about 50
plants when nobody wants to buy the fruit.
